Captain Menelaos Karayiotas - Principal and Master Mariner. Sailing as Master in various types of ship,
he joined Hanseatic in 1990. Rising to senior lecturer, Captain Menelaos
has a wealth of experience in teaching overseas students and now manages
our state of the art simulator for ARPA, ECDIS and Bridge Management.
Kyriacos Olympiou - Senior Lecturer and
Master Mariner. Sailed as
chief officer, joined Hanseatic in 1994. Responsible for cargo
operations and general seamanship and the running and maintenance of the
school's liquid cargo simulator.
Andy Webster - Senior Lecturer. Chief
Engineer (Class One Certificate, Steam & Motor Unlimited), he joined
Hanseatic in 2002 from a career sailing a variety of vessels from cruise
ships to 'offshore' DSV's.
Brendan Kennedy - Catering Instructor.
Ex British Royal & Merchant Navy.
With a background of Catering and Sea Safety Training, he is responsible
for Hotel services and all catering training.
Alex Zannetou - Office Assistant. Alex
is responsible for general office administration.
